WELCOME TO DORMA

The Dream permeates the in-between, born of pure imagination; it shouldn't exist, yet it does and angry gods look on in maddening horror. It is a space created by human souls, for human souls.

Sleepers visit The Dream, unaware of their influcence. The Dead reside there, forever searching for purpose. The Lucid are something caught in the middle, able to freely walk between wake and sleep. These factions tug at each other and shape the dreamscape as forces of meta-phyiscal nature.

The Sleep Drifter is lost, on a vast quest far from home. He must remember what it is he's looking for before he can even begin to try and learn how to find it, crossing every hill and valley in The Dream to do so.

DORMA is an idea I've had rattling around for decades. I first wrote a script and drew and inked a few pages on comic boards around 2008 or so. I lost steam, but always kept the story in the back of my mind. I started writing it again in 2018 or so, now having tons of old sketchbooks to dig through for influence and ideas. I started writing the script for Chapter 1 off and on over the next few years, and finally finished drawing and inking the thing late 2024.

Cover art is by Nathan Campos! Go check out his work, he's a great artist and I'm so thankful he was able to lend his talent to the world I've created.

Thanks for checking it all out! I hope you have fun and come back for more when it's ready. Click below to read available chapters!
